Police has got a big success in exposing the gang that stole four wheelers in just 60 seconds after doing recce in Noida. Here, after the encounter of police with the miscreants in a car in police station 49 area, one miscreant got injured after being shot. At the same time, two companions of the injured miscreant were arrested after the siege.

Encounter between police and miscreants

Earlier on January 20, two vicious vehicle thieves were injured in an encounter between police and miscreants in Khurja Nagar of Bulandshahr. Police arrested both of them and admitted them to the hospital. The injured criminals have been identified as Tahir, a resident of Hapur, and Dilawar, a resident of Meerut. During checking on Pisawa Road in Junction Chowki area, the police tried to stop a suspicious Centro car. The criminals in the car opened fire on the police team and started running away.

Shots hit the leg of the criminals
In the retaliatory action of the police, both the criminals were shot in the leg. Police have recovered the Centro car, two pistols and cartridges from the criminals. Investigation has revealed that Tahir and Dilawar are vicious criminals. They used to carry out vehicle theft incidents in Hapur, Meerut and surrounding districts.

Several criminal cases registered
Criminal history is being investigated, several criminal cases are registered against both of them in various police stations. CO Khurja Vikas Pratap Singh Chauhan said that the criminal history of both the criminals is being investigated. The police is searching for their other accomplices. He said that strict action will be taken against the criminals and the entire gang will be exposed.
